Author and Pittsburgh native Lisa Donovan will share her love of birds and read her children’s book Birds in My Backyard–a whimsical celebration of the incredible birds that we see in our area. The reading will be followed by a bird-collage-making activity led by illustrator Dee Paras. A short birdwatching hike with a naturalist educator will conclude the session. This program is best suited for parents and caregivers with children under 10 years old.
