Celebrate WOYC at the Homewood Early Learning Hub & Family Center

The first week of April is recognized as the Week of the Young Child (WOYC). The Homewood Early Learning Hub & Family Center will have special programming to celebrate young children and their caregivers.

Details

Programming includes:

  • Musical Monday, April 7 | 3 – 6:30 p.m. | Families are welcome for an open house on Monday featuring live music, food and refreshments, and fun musical activities for the whole family!

  • Tasty Tuesday, April 8 | 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. | Playnotes will join the weekly Storytime for a fun, food-themed musical experience with singing, activities, and instrument exploration. Donuts from Dana’s Bakery will be offered as a special treat for guests!

  • Work Together Wednesday, April 9 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. | The Hub is teaming up with RIF Storymobile for a joint storytime and activity during drop-in play hours. After the activity, families are welcome to stay and play!

  • Family Friday, April 11 | 6 – 8 p.m. | Visit for dinner and a family-friendly movie to celebrate Family Friday! Guests will make a fun canvas pillow craft, and families can use their pillows to relax during the movie. Dinner and popcorn will be served.
