Hartwood Acres to Host Ballet Under the Stars

Hartwood Acres’ summer concert series runs from June through August and includes such popular acts this year as Smash Mouth, Nick Lowe, and The Family Stone.

On Aug. 24, the park will host a free performance of Ballet Under the Stars. Attendees can arrive at 5:30 p.m. to participate in such family activities as grab-and-go crafts and dance lessons led by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre team members. Food and beverage trucks will also be on-site.

The event will also include a Ticketed Picnic in the Park, during which attendees can enjoy wine, dinner, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre artists.

At 7:30 p.m. the ballet company will perform a selection of works from its repertory.
