MYSELF | YO MISMO Event Recap

Buzzword hosted its first bilingual family-friendly event based on the newest box MYSELF | YO MISMO. This event took place on Saturday, 03/09/24 at the Kingsley Association. Many Pittsburgh families attended the event and engaged in activities.

At the event, there were activities dedicated to early literacy, science, art, and music activities. Some of the activities include face painting, art projects, and dancing. 78 people across 26 families attended the event!

Children and their caregivers engaged with each other to create meaningful moments through interactive activities from our friends from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.

Interpreters were present, and programming was available in English and Spanish. In addition, Buzzword collaborated with the Allegheny County Family Centers network, Kingsley Association, and the Latino Community Center on this event.
