The first 500 families to arrive at the event, which begins at noon, will be able to select any three free books of their choice from the book fair.

Attendees will also be able to explore interactive exhibits, site-specific artworks, and hands-on activities in MuseumLab, located in the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.

The program is led by The Grable Foundation and literacy advocate Casey Mindlin and presented in partnership with the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.

Won’t You Be a Reader? aims to promote and celebrate the existing work of literacy-focused organizations in the Pittsburgh region to advance children’s literacy, bring more attention to the current state of literacy, and support free access to books.
